Ofir Ventura (Israel, 1989) is a harmonica player who plays blues, rock and folk.
Ofir became interested in music at the age of 6 in her hometown of Petah Tikva. At the age of 16 she discovered her love for the blues and started to play the harmonica. She also studied keyboard instruments.
Since 2010, Ofir plays in an Israeli blues rock band called Electric Blue. They recorded their debut album in 2014 with Bardo Studios. Ofir is a true blues woman and her musical influences come from all the different genres of blues and rock – from traditional delta blues through Modern British Blues and rock 'n' roll.
From 2011 to 2013, Ofir played in the Ori Naftaly Band. With them, she won the 2013 IBC in Israel. She worked on their album “A True Friend is Hard to Find” which was recorded with Luna Studios. She also went on a summer tour with the band to the Netherlands. Ventura is a contributor to the Urban Book Circle based in Canada and has performed all over Israel having done guest appearances with bands such as Mashina, The Blues Messengers, Full Trunk, Mark Rashkow and more.
