Miodrag Jaksic (Serbia, 1969) is a Serbian writer. He is the author of numerous books for children and adults, has prepared a few collections of poetry, has his poems published in various anthologies and has won notable awards for his written work. His biggest success was his dragon trilogy of poetry containing the books Mali zmaj i njegovi snovi, Kako raste Mali zmaj and Tajne zaljubljenog Malog zmaja. He created the musical album Da se zemlja okrece nikada prestati nece which includes twelve songs in the interpretation of Bora Djordjevic, Goca Trzan and Sladjana Milosevic among others. He earned his degree in the field of archeology. Jaksic is the editor-in-chief of the agency for artistic works known as Arte. Miodrag Jaksic is an honourable member of the Urban Book Circle (Canada) and a member of the Association of Writers of Serbia.
