Milica Bijelic (Serbia, 1977) is a Master Professor of Literature and Language. She completed her elementary school, highschool, university and master studies in Belgrade where she works as Serbian language instructor in elementary school. Bijelic has been writing since her highschool days. She is a contributor and honourable member of the Urban Book Circle (Canada). She won the second award of the city of Belgrade at the competition for best poem against cancer and was a technical contributor in the national culture magazine Dveri at the Philology Faculty in Belgrade. Her poems have been published in various anthologies such as Rukopis in Pancevo, Srpsko pero in Jagodina, Glas korena in Nis, Zubor from Moravica, Sumadijske metafore, Garavi sokak and so on. Media house Oslobodjenje from Banja Luka published many of her poems. She won the second award at the competition for best love song held at the Library Jovan Tomic based in Nova Varos. Her first collection of poetry titled Ljubovez was published by Belgrade-based Poete in 2013.
