Lamb: Best Kept Secrets (a lullaby)

Lamb: Best Kept Secrets (a lullaby)
At times comes one morning,
when all wishes flow into just one, which I want to entrust to you. Shatter me like the best champagne on your anchored happiness. Let the shreds of my being vanish as painful memories. Let there be none of me and full of you and always and forever we’ll be free. At times comes one afternoon, when all hopes change into single one, which I want to achieve. To pine away my body, to thrum off emotional note, to experience perfect consciousness’ amnesia. Let the words and deeds lose their true meaning in the last breath. Let the pencil stop in hand as Gajdusek’s comforting cyanide or like best kept secrets. And then falls the night … Throng of dreams recall back all wishes and hopes, which I am not able to stop. Champagne sparkles in eyes, shreds cut inside, consciousness pours words as Kuru of painful memories. And the pencil in trembling hands writes lullaby as whispered secret of air. Always and forever, just be with me. |
