Get Out
Turn around,
get out of this room, look at your life, get out. You must resist the confines of comfort. Turn around, go somewhere, anywhere, get out right now, fill your eyes, become a foreigner, an outsider, be awake, get out of this room, be awake in the deepest part of your soul, vividly awake in every pore, look at your life, get out. You must defy the idea of settled. Turn around, keep moving, stand up, comprehending the vastness, get away from what you know, content and unchallenged, a departure from the overrun, walking to the ledge and looking up, stand up, in new waters, keep making yourself uncomfortable, place yourself in the middle of chaos, unlatch yourself from the familiar, dip your toes into flight, stand up and walk away be awake in the deepest part of your soul, vividly awake in every pore, look at your life, get out. A tear is the purest kind of smile in the filthy world. You must resist. You must defy. Turn around, get out. Nothing in dreams is so astonishing as the amount of awakenings. Be awake in the deepest part of your soul, vividly awake in every pore, look at your life, get out. Out. |

The legendary Dragoslav “Seki” Sekularac speaks about himself, Tito and Dzajic, the lamb Arkan, Rajko Mitic without pants and about the qualities and selfishness about those who we knew but didn’t recognize. Originally published in the May 2006 issue of Mi magazin in the Serbian. This interview lasted 4 hours and 47 minutes and is the longest ever interview with the world famous soccer player Dragoslav Sekularac. This was confirmed by the legendary Canadian soccer player of Serbian descent Milovan “Mike” Bakic who was present during the interview.
